• Membership Luncheon: North Star Project & Community Housing

We welcome Monica Negrila, Director of Strategic Initiatives, from the Skagit County Commissioners’ Office, who will discuss North Star’s collaborative approach to addressing behavioral health and housing challenges in Skagit County. The initiative aims for stable, safe housing for everyone and an effective community-based system of care.

North Star focuses on the most pressing community needs, helping our neighbors access the care, support, and housing they require to move off the street and into stable living situations.

Established in July 2022 by Skagit County Commissioners and the Mayors of Anacortes, Burlington, Mount Vernon, and Sedro-Woolley, North Star unites various governments, first responders, and health providers. Together, we are coordinating resources and services to provide effective care and support for our community.
