HKP Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of Christine Baldwin, AIA, to Associate.
Christine joined HKP in 2014 after receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo. She became licensed in the State of Washington in 2019. During her ten years with HKP, Christine has excelled in designing for stakeholder needs, managing complex projects, and contributing to the firm’s goals and development. She is currently the Project Architect for the Mount Vernon Library Commons, which is the first publicly-bid Passive House project and is the largest public EV charging installation in the country.
She joins Partners Julie Blazek and Brian Poppe as owners in the firm. Her new role as Associate will allow Christine to develop new business opportunities and help guide the firm in a leadership role. Her elevation to Associate is a testament to her thoughtful approach to design and skilled practice in project delivery. Christine’s dedication to detail for every project is founded in value, responsibility, and equity. She is also active in AIA Northwest Washington, a section of AIA Seattle, serving as the current Committee Chair.
