Skagit County Superior Court is pleased to announce the appointment of Haley Sebens as Superior Court Commissioner. Haley joins Superior Court from the Skagit County Prosecutor’s Office where she worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for thirteen years.
As a prosecutor Haley handled all levels of felony cases and focused her work on special assault crimes, crimes against children, and family violence. Prior to her work at the prosecutor’s office, she served as a deputy public defender where she practiced in the fields of criminal law, dependency, juvenile court, and various treatment courts, and as a judicial law clerk for the Skagit County Superior Court judges. Haley is a graduate of Gonzaga Law School and the University of Washington and is also a member of Burlington Rotary. Haley and her husband have two children, ages ten and eight.
A swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 4:00 PM in Courtroom Two at the Skagit County Courthouse.
